Today marks the start of the British Open 2019, taking place at The Peak, Stirling.  The first round of sessions started at 10am this morning, the game times are below.  Updates from the weekend can be found on Facebook

Below is a list of the previous winning skips of the British Open, some famous names among them, after 5 years with out a British Open, it returned last year and was won by Calum Kinnear.  Who will join the list this year?

Today is the start of the Glynhill Ladies International 2019,  the draw is 4 sections of 4 teams with some of the best teams from Scotland and the rest of the world competing.  This is the first year that the Glynhill has been part of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour and we are very please to have such a well established event.  The competition is also a member of the World Curling Tour.  Details can be found on the WCT site here

The next leg of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour heads to Forfar tomorrow 5th of January 2019.  If you are in the area the ice rink welcomes all spectators.  The draw is below.   Updates can be found on the FIS facebook page here or the FIS website here

Today is the first day of the Dumfries Open 2018.

There are currently some technical issues with the line scores on Curlingzone so keep your eyes on the Dumfries Facebook page for updates.

Session 1 saw wins for Barr, Brydone, Woolstone (EE), McNay, Haswell and Kinnear.

Due to a low number of entries, Braehead have taken the decision to postpone the Braehead Open which was scheduled for next weekend (21st-23rd September). We will post an update when a new date is confirmed, but for now we're looking forward to the Tour getting underway at Dumfries with their Open event 5th-7th October!

Curling season is nearly upon us, which means it's not long until the first instalment of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour for Season 2018/19. The Braehead Open (21st-23rd September) will once again open the Tour, with all teams welcome, and cash prizes available in a number of categories including juniors and local teams.  The 2018/19 season is creeping up very quickly.  We are delighted to confirm that we have a new competition on board this season with the Glynhill Ladies International. 

Some competitions are still in the planning stages so if confirmed we hope to be in a position to add these comps to our Tour.   More info will follow when we have it.  We will also be updating our site in the coming days with further information on each competition. The re-instated and revamped British Open was a complete success!

It made for the perfect backdrop to such an exciting conclusion of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour 2017/18.

The High road final between Bryce and Kinnear started with a cagey first end, which resulted in a blank. The second end however was back to business for both sides. Without hammer, Bryce drew top 4 foot with his last, with a wall of stones just behind the tee, the viewing gallery presuming it wouldn't be going anywhere.
