The Forfar Curl Fest is half way through the round robin stage.
The Red Section is currently topped by Team Mike Dick, winning their first two games against Grant Barr and David Jones. Local team, skipped by Jim Menzies but fourth stone thrown by Doug Wilson, had a well controlled game this morning against Sheila MacFarlane to currently sit second with two more games to come. The other game this morning saw John Sharp take on Grant Barr. Team Barr came away with a convincing win to get their first win on the board.
In the Blue Section, Team Stuart Marshall and Team Frazer Hare both sit undefeated, however, they are schedules to play each other at 5pm tonight. Maggie Wilson bounced back after a defeat last night to win against Team Bobby Ireland, starting strong with a well constructed score of 3 in the second end. Keith Prentice and Adrian Meikle will be looking to come back tonight after their defeats to Team Marshall and Team Hare during the lunch time draw today.
