Mouat Wins in Dumfries

We mentioned Team Mouat's recent success at the Grand Slam of Curling at the start of this week, Bruce and his team have continued their success picking up the trophy at Dumfries Challenger Series. In a low scoring and tight game, Team Mouat made the breakthrough in the 6th end with a 2 and a 5-2 lead with only 2 ends to go, a force in the 7th was enough to confirm the title would stay in Scotland and go home with Bruce to Edinburgh.

When asked how he was feeling after the final, Bruce sent us this quote:

"Happy to finish off the year with a victory. The team and I are hoping to continue this form going into the Scottish Championships in February. We are all looking forward to a bit of a break over Christmas and new year."

Well Done to Bruce and his team of Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan Jnr. Congratulations should also go to the finalists Jan Hess and his team of Simon Gloor, Simon Hoen and Reto Schoenenberger.

In the 3/4th place game Mikkel Krause defeated Andrin Schnider 6-3.
