British Open and GSCT Finale

Next weekend (27th-29th) sees the return of the British Open and the finale of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour.   

The British Open first took place in 1945 with 70 teams and 1500 spectators, it was a grand event and ran for 67 years until it was disbanded recently, Gavin Fleming, formerly of the GSCT Committee left his role in the committee to resurrect, in conjunction with Active Stirling, this historic competition which starts Friday 27th April at 10am at The Peak, Stirling.

 

The top 2 teams in the standings are competing this week, Stuart Marshall and Cameron Bryce will be fighting it out to be the winner of the Goldline Scottish Curling Tour and the Colin Galbraith Jnr Memorial Trophy.
