The Dumfries based Team Gallacher were worthy winners in today's Dumfries Open final. The junior team, comprising Hamish Gallacher, Angus Bryce, Scott Hyslop and Jack Carrick, put on a classy performance in the final to get their hands on the trophy. Skip Gallacher pulled off some spectacular up weight shots, but was also able to draw the four foot under pressure, ably supported by his team.
Team L Carson were making their second Tour Final appearance in as many weeks, and although not the winner of either, they collected many valuable tour points! The newly formed team of Luke Carson, Stuart Taylor, Alasdair Schreiber, Mark Taylor and Andy Callander have put in strong performances over the last couple of weeks, and will definitely be ones to watch as the season continues!
Dumfries put on an excellent event, and thanks goes to the organisers, ice technicians, and the ever willing team of volunteers.
